I’m on the Professional / Team plan. How do I access Clipboard Web?
- To view any existing clients on Clipboard Web, simply log into your Pre-Meet account and use the search bar to pull any record and select the option to open the record in Clipboard Web.
- You can also create a new client record directly from your account. Once you’ve successfully created the record, there will be an option to open it in Clipboard Web (green button to the right of the record).
How does it sync to Salesforce?
- We use your SJP login details to pull and sync to Salesforce.
- Any updates you make in each field will instantly update to the corresponding field in Salesforce.
Can support staff access Clipboard Web?
- It is possible for support staff to access the service. However, due to Salesforce restrictions on some support staff codes, they may not have the correct permissions to sync details.
- As a workaround, we can assign your practice code, or any adviser’s code, to support members’ accounts.
- Please get in touch with any code assignment requests and a member of our team will update this for you. Contact us at support@digitalclipboard.com.
- Our team is working on making this process better.
What are the differences between Clipboard iPadOS and Clipboard Web?
Our aim is to make our solutions available to as many users as possible. Whilst Clipboard Web provides greater flexibility, with accessibility on any device, there are some unavoidable differences between the original iPadOS app and Web.
We’ve outlined the main differences in terms of functionality and available features below. We’ll continue to work towards aligning the two versions as best as possible.
- Digital handwriting capability is dependent on the device you’re using to access Clipboard Web. Microsoft Surface Pro users will be able to use the stylus for handwriting. The Apple Pencil is used to write notes on Clipboard iPadOS.
- The handwriting toolbar is limited to text options on Clipboard Web. Clipboard iPadOS also includes drawing, maths and photo tools which are native to the device.
- Clipboard Web relies on Internet connection to access the service via browser. Clipboard iPadOS can work offline.
- Auto-generation of documents is not yet available on Clipboard Web. We’re working on enabling this for LOAs.
